PROPOSED RECOMMENDATION

To undertake a procurement exercise for the replacement of a prefabricated unit with traditional build at Bishop Monkton CE Primary School.

BACKGROUND TO SUPPORT THE RECOMMENDATION

The scheme forms part of the Children and Young People’sService Schools Condition Grant.   

The procurement process is programmed to begin in November 2022.The work is programmed to commence on site in April 2023, with completion in August 2023.

LEGAL AND GOVERNANCE COMPLIANCE

This is a key decision.  The proposal to procure was entered on the forward plan in October 2022.

The procurement exercise will be undertaken in accordance with the Council’s Procurement and Contract Procedure Rules and the Public Contracts Regulations 2015

RECOMMENDATION

That the procurement for thereplacement of a prefabricated nursery unit with traditional build at Bishop Monkton CE Primary School be approved.
